But the nature itself has created the unique natural landscapes of extraordinary beauty with combination of majestic mountain scenery, blue mirror lakes, coniferous and deciduous groves. This tour is connected with the name of the last Khan KenesaryKasymov, the grandson of the great Abylai Khan, born in the Burabay tract. He headed the national liberation movement, which lasted 10 years for independence from the Russian Empire.

Kenesary Khan was born in 1802 in the tract Burabay, from childhood he learned riding and marking shooting. Kenesary was passionately fond of hunting wild animals in the Burabay tract. Often, with his squad after a successful hunt, for the night stayed at the foot of the hill, on top of which there is a cave. Therefore, this cave is called “Kenesarygiri”, “Keneshary’s Cave”. The cave is located on the southern shore of Lake Borovoye (Auliekol), in 6 km from Okzhetpessanatorium.

Walk along the mountain road through the fairytale places along the southern shore of the Big Chebachyelake. The trail of YbrayaSandybaev goesAlong the south-western shore on the north side of the mountain,expanded on the road in 1915-1916 by captive Austrogeners. On the striking similarity with the nature of Baikal lake, this road people was called as “Baikal road.”

Brief description of the walking trail:
The trail passes through the territory of the Zerendinsky branch of the State National Natural Park “Kokshetau”. The movement starts from the recreation camp “Vostochnaya” through the pine forest in a South-western direction along the shore of the lake Zerenda before the camping grounds are located near the pump station of Zerenda fish center. The bivouac glade does not provide a long rest.

Lake Zerenda is located along the North-Eastern slopes of the Zerenda mountains, the maximum depth is 8.5 m, the average depth is 1.8 m, the length of the lake is 5.3 km, the maximum width is 3.4 km, the maximum mirror area is on average 10 km² over a long period, the length of the coastline is 21.3 km. The absolute mark of its surface above sea level is 370.4 m. the surface of the lake is almost everywhere open, only in the Western part of the coastal strip 100-150 m wide is overgrown with reeds. The bottom of the lake is mostly flat, sandy, with pebbles and boulders.

Further traffic continues along the highway to the barrier on the Peninsula “Green Cape”.

3.A brief description (description) of the route:

The route passes through the territory of the branch of “Ormandy Bulak”. The movement starts by bus from the Sunkar health complex, located on the territory of the Zerendinsky branch, along the highway in the Western direction.

In 20 minutes we drive up to the mound and burial grounds of “Ormandy Bulak”. In 2010, during archaeological research on the territory of an arable field and a place for grazing cattle, the burial ground “Ormandy Bulak” was discovered, Dating back to the bronze age of 2 thousand BC, located 4 km South of the border of the village of Karsak in an elevated area.

Mounds of the bronze age are recorded, as well as mounds of the early iron age and the middle ages. There are more than 50 burial structures. Their diameter varies from 6 to 30 m and up to 1.5 m high. The construction of the mounds is as follows: they are covered with stone slabs in the form of a ring around the perimeter, the length of the slabs reaches 2-2.5 m, the height is 1.5 m.

The burial pits are sub-rectangular and patriziale form. The depth of the pits is from 80 cm to 180 cm. The remains of wooden structures made of logs were found in all the burial pits. In one of the grave pits at a depth of 130-140 cm, a human skeleton was found in an anatomical collection. An Arsenal of bronze two-and three-bladed arrowheads, a bronze quiver knife, and ceramic vessels were also found in the burial pits. A bone object made of tubular bone was found inside one vessel. Based on the shape of the object and the specific signs applied to it, it is presumably a Tamga that belonged to the leader of a tribe or clan. Analysis of ceramics indicates the presence of both Alakul and Petrine elements. Thus, we are dealing with a monument that reflects the migration processes that took place in Northern Kazakhstan in the XV –XII centuries BC.

Then the group goes to the monument of bronze age archeology — the settlement and burial grounds “Karsak”.

The settlement “Karsak” covers an area of more than 1000 square meters on the above-floodplain terrace of the left Bank of the Chaglinka river. A compact group of 18 housing depressions was recorded, which had a variety of sizes,shapes and locations. The finds in the excavation were found at a depth of 20 to 105 cm. Among them were found fragments of pottery, a fragment of a stone tool, an indeterminate fragment of bronze, a vessel and numerous animal bones. Apparently, the monument was left by the Alakul tribes of the developed bronze age, who inhabited Central Kazakhstan in the middle of the second MILLENNIUM BC.

The Karsak burial grounds occupy a flat area on the left Bank of the Chaglinka river. They have a round shape of different diameters, bounded by stones around the perimeter. During the excavation of the burial grounds, ancient burials of tribal residents who lived in this settlement were discovered. Archaeological monuments characterize the funeral rite and the degree of settlement of the tribes of Northern Kazakhstan in the bronze age.

From the settlement and burial grounds “Karsak” movement continues on foot in the South direction along the highway towards the waterfall “Omir Suy”. This is a very beautiful and picturesque place, located on the Chaglinka river, which flows among the rocks in a pine forest covered with rosehip and cherry bushes. In the place where the waterfall “Omir Suy” runs, the banks of the river are stony and high, with steep descents. Here the group sets up a tent camp for the night.

The next day, tourists go along the field, then along the forest road towards the village of Ulguli. After 1.5 hours — stop for a short rest in a small clearing.

The next stop for rest is at the foot of the Zhylandy hill, which is located among the pine forest. There is a short stop here so that tourists can drink cool spring water from the flowing spring “Yasnaya pad”.The name of the hill “Zhylandy” comes from the fact that there are snakes on it.

Then the movement continues on foot in the South direction towards the village of Ulguli to the cave “Aidahar ungiri”, located on the Kaukaragai hill near the village (about 1 km to the East of it).

according to the legend of old-Timers during the revolution, kulaks, fighters of the red and White armies alternately hid in the cave. Presumably, the length of the cave is more than 2 km in the direction of the Zhylandy hill.

In 2007, local historians of the Academy “Kokshe” carried out work on opening the cave, in 2009, a comprehensive speleological study of the cave was started, clearing the passages from the ground and stone rubble.

The name of the cave is associated with the legend of the dragon, which destroyed not only wild, but also domestic animals of the area and kept the local population in fear. Keiki Batyr and his warriors closed the exit from the cave with a huge stone-gate, when there was a dragon sheltering from the cold, which found shelter in it during the cold snap.

From the cave, the group returns to OK “Sunkar” by bus.

The trail passes through the territory of GU SSPE “Kokshetau”. The movement starts from the forest glade from the OK “Sunkar” along the forest road along the birch grove and young pine trees, past the stream “kabaniy” to the hill “Vishnevaya”. This small hill in the middle of a forest clearing overgrown with meadowsweet and cherry trees.
At a distance of 1.5 km from the hill “Vishnevaya” is the hill “Strekach”. Its height above sea level is 560 m. From the top of the hill “Strekach “offers a beautiful panorama of the forest, lake” Zerendinskoe”, the Peninsula” Green Cape “and the majestic hill” Medvedka”, whose height is 687 meters above sea level.

Going down from the hill “Strekach”, you will see the beginning of the stone “Austrian wall” length of 19 km, built in 1914-1917 by captive Austrians. She separated the state and Church forests. Further along the route is the “woodpecker’s dining room” – a cracked pine tree that the woodpecker chose for leaching seeds from pine cones, there is an original pile of stones that resembles a tank, a landscape monument of nature “Turtle”, where the shell and head of a turtle are clearly visible.

3. A brief description (description) path:
The trail passes through the territory of the state unitary enterprise “Kokshetau”. Traffic starts from the forest glade from the “Sunkar” along the highway among young pine trees to the kabaniy stream and then along the border of coniferous and deciduous forests past the “Holy” spring. This amazing source of sweet water, unique in taste, is available all year round. In winter, the sand bubbling at the bottom makes you feel like a broken water pipe.
Then the path winds through a pine forest, the ground of which is densely overgrown with moss and comes to the birch “Nightingale grove”. Here is the spring “Rejuvenating”, a kind of appearance and smell of water which when washing gives freshness and strength.
Traffic continues along the “Nightingale grove” to the “Wild”spring. From it begins the ascent to the hill “Medvedka”. Approximately in the middle of the slope of the hill “Medvedka” there is a small clearing with a beautiful view of lake Zerendinskoe, the surrounding hills and steppes. From the clearing, the ascent becomes much steeper and reaches the top of the hill “Medvedka”, whose height is 687 meters above sea level. From here, you can easily see the expanses of the Zerendinsky oasis for a distance of up to 30 km. From the top of the hill “Medvedka” you can see the Balkashinsky mountains, lakes Aidabul, Karagaychik, Chemuldy, sphang swamp, which is unique in this area.
At the top of the hill is an original rock break called “Stone cake”. At the far end of it was the “house of the ancient man”, built of stone and insulated with moss. It is also called “the abode of the snowman”.
